Thank you for this. I’ve been feeling something similar but I would have trouble putting it into words. It’s almost as if I will miss the pandemic.

One thing I did was get the old sewing machine, which had become a parking place for useless junk, fixed. Then I began making masks according to my own three-ply design. After I had more than enough for myself — I could have a clean one every day if I went out every day, and who does that any more? — I made more and gave them away to family and friends, culminating in a mini Santa’s workshop. Everybody’s getting nice festive holiday themed masks this year instead of cookies.

What am I going to make when masks are no longer needed?
