Thank you for this. I’m the same way about action movies. In life I couldn’t bear to hurt anyone. I tell my instructors that the martial aspect of the martial art of Aikido is lost on me because I never fight. Yet as for entertainment, if it doesn’t bleed, I don’t see why I should watch it. So like you there are many times when I wonder about myself.
