Before I go on let me ask you something. Actually, to be fair, this is more of a challenge than a question but I have been dying to ask someone: Without referring back to the story, what is the gender of the interviewer?
For a contest I’d have to rewrite it under a new title. That would be for the best because originally it was supposed to be entirely dialog. Which means I’d have find a way around the minor world building, otherwise it gets into the 10+ minute read category. I don’t read many of those either.
As you undoubtedly noticed, the point is to explore the what-does-it-mean-to-be-human question, which we never tire of. The interviewer finds eR28sEnfOI human because it is snarky. Is snarkiness a necessary human trait?
A lot of people have highlighted various parts of it, but no one highlighted my personal favorite, “It was weird being lectured by a robot.”
