The only time I got in trouble was when I posted a link to one of my stories on Facebook, and my ex saw it. Oh well!

Maybe not the only time. I have a very small number of RL friends who are also on Medium, and one of them asked me to critique an article. I took him to task a bit because I thought it read flat because he wasn’t making himself vulnerable, and it turned out that criticism was not actually what he wanted.

Using a pseudonym helps. Also, I tell my RL/Medium friends what happens on Medium stays on Medium.
