These so-called signs are always things that are always going on. They seem to more extreme now but that may just be because we are now aware of what is happening in the whole world. For example, earthquakes happen around the world and we know about it. In Jesus’ time the authors of the old testament would not have been aware of an earthquake in, say, Japan. Christians are being persecuted in various parts of the world but are you going to make the claim that Christians never persecuted, killed or tortured anyone?
So be kind, don’t judge others, and accept everyone.
This is always a good thing, tribulations or no. We also need to take care of our home. As in being good stewards. By not doing so we are courting disaster. We are currently busy bringing the end times on ourselves. In the meantime many Christians, in my country at any rate, have disgraced themselves by entering into league with the very people most hell bent on bringing this about through greed and negligence. That is tragic.
