This is what people can’t seem to wrap their heads around. Vaccination is not something we do as individuals, it’s something we do as a species. The challenges on the horizon — global warming, the next pandemic — are species challenges. Unfortunately individualism is in the ascendancy nowadays. Our chances of succeeding against these coming challenges are not good.
