Well for starters, they just fixed a problem with the "open in app" thing you get when you get an email from someone you subscribe to, hit "View on Medium", which opens it in a browser tab, then "Open in app." It was generating an error so like last week, I filled out a ticket, and it's fixed already.
Compare that to Substack, where the "Open in app" thing opens Google Play, and has for litteral years. I found out who the appropriate techs were on the Substack "Footnotes and Tangents," where I'm a paid subscriber. I was asking why when you hit a notification for a response to one of your comments in the chat thread it sends you to the end of the thread. I sent the techs screencapture videos with voice-over, the whole bit. Months went by and nothing happened concerning either problem. When I asked about it again recently I was excoriated for being petty, and that the techs were busy people, and besides they had made it so that when you scroll back up the thread, when you pass your comment it flashes at you. Wait, what? They can do that but they can't land you on your comment in the first place? When I order a ham sandwich in a deli nobody expects me to be satisfied with egg salad.
Sorry, I have given way to prolixity: I'll shut up now.
