When I did the Zoommediarmageddon, or whatever I called it, I found that since the eastern US and Singapore are 12 hours apart, it was possible to include people in time zones you would cross if you traveled east from Singapore to the eastern US, *or* include people in time zones you would cross if you traveled west from Singapore to the Easter US, but not both. That is, (for example) Singapore, Hawaii, and anywhere in the continental US, or eastern US, Europe, and Singapore, but not both groups, that is unless some were willing to log on at say 3:00am.
