When I read this my first thought was that people like that are stupid because they make themselves miserable through anger & miss all the fun. Service workers — this is my experience anyway — like to joke around and have fun when possible. You also get infinitely better service when you are lighthearted and fun about it plus you are having fun yourself so win-win.
