When my son worked in retail one his chief complains was that the cops never did anything. He'd call them and they'd say, "What do you want me to do about it?" Well I dunno buddy, maybe your job?
This was in Portland OR where the police are notoriously for their inaction. It's a very liberal city and the police are pouting because they think Donald Trump won the 2020 election. If I were mayor I'd fire the whole force.
