Where did you get that loser lawyer? You could have had your ex in the slammer for fraud. That's what my ex did to my replacement after he swiped her checkbook & cashed a couple of forged checks in the bar. Anyway with his abusive self safely in the slammer she hit me up for a plane ticket & I was reunited with my son plus his new little half brother, the spitting image of the forger.

That was all 40+ years ago. Glad you were smart and persistent enough to rebuild your life. Not everybody is.
