Yes, both. I like gyōza more. Ramen is what you eat when you're broke.
My brother never eats ramen any more because he associates it with his time in prison. Not that it was served at the prison cafeteria. It wasn't. But ramen is the basic ingredient in "prison goulash."
Someone contributes "a soup" (prison term [in Florida at least] for a package of ramen*). Someone else might have "a fish" (minute package of cured mackerel sold at the prison commissary) some one else might have some Doritos or potato chips. After cooking the "soup," draining and the water**, and adding the "fish" the Doritos etc are crumbled over the top. Only contributors get to share in the feast, served on paper towels, coffee filters, or whatever.

* One of the cheapest items sold at the prison commissary.
** Not easy in prison, but prisoners are inventive.
