You have obviously never had an Osage orange tree or a black walnut. Osage orange trees drop heaps of Osage oranges. Imagine a the love child of grapefruit and corn, which is inedible so they sit there and rot into a 6-inch deep puddle of goo as if every drunk in town came and threw up there at once. Black walnuts are sort of the same except they are black instead of puke yellow-green and actually smell like vomit, AND always have little white worms crawling all over them.
