You should come to my church then. Inclusivity really is what we are about. For example, the Eucharist is an "open table" meaning it's between you and God, or you and the Great Mother, or up to how you see yourself spiritually; however you want to put it.
Some Sundays I'm like, "I don't know about this whole God bit, but I like the music (I sing in the choir) and the ceremony." And that's OK. Most of the time it's, "OK, here I am. I choose to enter this story." Very traditional Episcopalian service and service music, beautiful Neo-gothic church building designed by Robert Upjon. You never feel like you are out clubbing.
If I got up and said all this from the pulpit, my guess is that the reaction would range from, "You mean you just now figured that out?" to, "You do you."
