I thought about doing something like this, but instead I just don’t pin anything. It seems like I get better stats that way. Not that I can back that assertion up with actual data. I saw a headline something like, Why Are Your Stats Plummeting? Two Words: Pinned Articles. I didn’t bother to read it. I just unpinned everything. My last featured story from way back before pinned stories remains pinned on the phone app. (the image is /latest) Fortunately it’s not a half bad story.

My stats are sure to drop for a while because I changed my name, but as I explained, it’s time. On my profile page on the phone app there is still small-q quasimodo because that uses the url https://quasimodo.medium.com and to change that is Medium suicide. I know because I did it way back when in order to get quasimodo in the first place I’m not sure if you can even do that anymore.
